Our Story

Paws Retreat opened its doors to pets and pet parents in December 2017.

It is the vision of Goutham Mekala, inspired by his beloved cocker spaniel, Buddie. Buddie struggled with separation anxiety, making it difficult to leave him alone even for short periods. This personal challenge became the foundation for creating a safe, comforting, and reliable space where pets could feel secure while their parents were away.

What started as a deeply personal need has grown into a trusted retreat for dogs—built on empathy, experience, and an unwavering commitment to animal well-being.
